2008 TOG AND SEA BASS TOURNAMENT
Current Standings: Tog DivisionFirst Place: Dave Kirk

Dave Kirk is the guy to beat in this tournament. He and Howard Steinberg merely traded trophies this year!

As always, it was Dave Kirk onto the board first and foremost with this early April tog taken on Dave's first trip of the season! That's Tom Jordan to the left of Dave with a nice fish of his own. (weigh slip pending)

Dave "The Limit" Kirk's crew is back in action again this year!

Sea Bass DivisionFirst Place: Howard Steinberg: 4.92 pound sea bass
Although a relative newcomer to PJSA, Howard Steinberg has made his mark on the trophy nameplates already, taking the seabass trophy away from Dave Kirk this season.

Howard Steinberg kicked off his spring season with a trip on May 10, and along with his 4-man crew caught 6 or 7 fish over 4 pounds and more than 30 fish over 3 pounds. (weigh slip pending)

Second Place:
Bob Ahrendt: 4.2 pound sea bass
Bob Ahrendt thought he was improving his odds by taking a cracker-jack wreck fishing crew with him... and what do you know, it was Bob himself that pulled the biggest fish of the day off a wreck in 90 feet of water.

Third Place:
Matt Harnick: 3.63 pound sea bass (3 pounds 10 ounces)

Here's a sight we don't see often enough these days - Matt Harnick getting out fishing with Joel! Congrats to Matt for making good on his early season trip by bagging this cold-water sea bass! And if you read carefully on the weigh slip, check out what bait Matt used (we like the fact that the location is so clearly spelled out!). (weigh slip received)
